What is the minimum investment loan amount for the Family Dairy Farms project?
The minimum investment loan amount in the current round, which runs from April 1, 2025 to June 30, 2025, is UAH 50 thousand.
How often is interest paid on an investment loan?
The income part of the investment loan consists of two parts: the guaranteed part and the investment premium.
The guaranteed part is paid quarterly in January, April, July and October, with interest accruing for each day of the loan. The interest rate of the guaranteed part depends on the type of loan and can be 10%, 11% or 12% per annum.
The investment premium is calculated based on the financial performance of the project for the year, so it is paid once a year at the end of the reporting year. According to the business plan, the investment premium will be approximately 11% per annum.
If I invest in Family Dairy Farms in the 2nd quarter of 2025, when will I receive the first income?
The guaranteed part of the interest is paid quarterly (in January, April, July and October). Therefore, the first income from an investment loan made in the 2nd quarter of 2025 will be paid in July 2025. Interest on the guaranteed portion is accrued for each day of the loan. The investment premium is accrued annually, for the previous year, and is paid no later than 01.07 of the following year.
What are the guarantees of repayment of the investment loan to Family Dairy Farms?
An agreement is signed with each partner, detailing the terms of the investment loan repayment. In addition, it is worth adding that the Family Dairy Farms project has been operating since 2017, despite the war, the project remains profitable and continues to pay dividends to investors of the first investment rounds (2020-2022) and guaranteed interest to all those who have taken out an investment loan since September 2022.
What is the cost of the Family Dairy Farms project?
According to the report on the assessment of the market value of corporate rights as of January 1, 2023, made by the audit company Baker Tilly Ukraine Consulting, it is UAH 205.52 million (+16.8% compared to 2020).
Is it possible to invest in foreign currency?
No, Ukrainian law allows business transactions to be conducted only in the national currency, the hryvnia.
How does the Family Dairy Farms project make money?
The profitable part of the Family Dairy Farms project is formed from the sale of raw milk to dairies, farm products (cheese, sour cream, milk), feed, compost, heifers, and the provision of veterinary and zootechnical services to farms. Find out more about our activities in the ICTV report.
